The name of this inn located in Tateshina, Nagano Prefecture comes from the fact that the proprietor’s mother creates works through indigo dyeing, and you can see those works inside the inn. In recent years, inns and hotels that have partially open-air baths in their guest rooms have gained popularity, and there has been a phenomenon where reservations for those rooms are fully booked. As part of this project, they have created partially open-air baths on the terrace in addition to renovating the existing rooms, so that guests can spend more comfortably in their rooms.
